I missed out on Sullivan's Florida run and was only aware of him because of the Dungeon of Doom.

Chi Chi Rodriguez died, most of you young whippersnappers maybe wont know who he is but when I was a kid he was pretty popular cause he was a Latino playing the white mans game of golf so it gave Hollywood plenty to make jokes about jalapenos and pepper bellies on talk shows and sitcoms, even though I dont think he was even Mexican or Chicano

I know this makes me a filthy casual, but I really only heard about Kevin Sullivan for the first time when Benoit killed his family, and people were acting like it was some conspiracy from Sullivan to get back at them for Benoit's wife leaving Sullivan years ago.

I know a lot more about him now though. RIP booker dude

I actually watched it as a kid, but when I moved to Germany, I did not have access to it for years, so not much memory.

And I was predominantly WWF/E

Germany had a pretty well regarded territory called the Catch Wrestling Association, had a good relationship with the American promotions and even got to put the AWA World Title on their main star/owner, Otto Wanz, back when the AWA strap was still a big deal
Bull Power Leon White(Vader) was a star there before he went to Japan and the last non WWF matches Andre The Giant ever worked were in Germany for the CWA

Thinking back in the past I'm trying to think how good was Vader? Thinking back on what I know of him old WWF/old WCW was he actually underrated? I'm trying to think of anything he couldn't do well and can't come up with anything.

They need to worry more about not fucking up the cup races with shitty packages and dirt gimmicks, and less about filling the calendar with one-off events. Although, a baseball game there does sound pretty cool...
