No, he switched to the AWA over Harley no showing, i think it was the second time it happened, Harley apparently thought it was a night show but it was a matinee

Well damn I'd no show too if I was NWA champ in 1980 and some promoter tried to put me on the B show. <lmao>

They did Superstars in '86 which was all one show and Supertowns in '87 which was matches from a few different arenas, then they invented Clash Of The Champions in '88
 
So, you're in Pennsylvania. Philly. One of my favourite towns to work, home of ECW run by my buddy Paul E. You're cutting a promo, you're getting your heat, next thing I know, someone's taking shots at you, and you take a bump, good sell job and you come up and you got color. And there we have that, great image, reminds me of when I worked Bret at WrestleMania 13 when I passed out in the sharpshooter. Crowd bought in, you were over after that angle So, come on, gimme the 411, was it a work, was it a shoot, was it a work that turned into a shoot? What happened?!
