@Pliny Pete this audio book is great and I love all the info. The narration is about like a PBS documentary though. It’s easy to zone out sometimes and I have to go back. So many names and information!

His other books are great too (although the NWA one is kinda boring). Capitol Revolution (Toots Mondt to Vince Sr to Vince Jr going national in the 80s) and the Flair book that came out last year.

I'm just coming off one of them. It was in my left thigh, middle lower.

It was nasty. My calf and the back of my knee were swollen solid and my leg was fixed at a ninety degree angle. I was on 20mgs of Codeine and I still couldn't stand up due to the pain, or even sit with my leg pointing downwards. I had my left foot pointing to my right knee in bed for eight days, and had to butt scoot to and from the bathroom, ankle put on right knee, using dipping to raise and lower myself onto the toilet and into the bath.

It took me just under a month to get to the point where I can work again. Even when the swelling started to go down and I could walk again, I still had mobility issues and a limp, and when my mobility improved and I was able to go out, I quickly found out that I was still limping, and my leg was really weak, to the point where I really struggled to drive my manual for more than five minutes without shaking.

It was numb, but really intense.

Also yes, she can die from it. If the clot breaks off and goes to her brain, it's a stroke. If it goes to her lungs? Heart attack. Prison officers cannot mess around with this. It's a medical emergency, and they'll be held responsible if she passes.
