Giving me an Alien vibe which is my favorite Alien movie. Aliens was fun and still carry of course but I liked how Alien felt more. Hopefully they can incorporate some good lore in this one because Alien lore goes hard and has a lot of carryover to a lot of different culture's perspective on life.

It's a weird franchise. It seems to have a ton of potential but hard to pull off a movie that can appease both types of Alien fans. Prometheus seemed like it was trying to cater to the hardcores but had its flaws and didn't really draw in the action oriented Alien fans. And then sometimes they go super mindless action type vibes which no one likes lol. I'd like to see them cast a strong female lead that will be around for some movies again. Sigourney was great, I love her in that role. One my favorite character. Let's get back to that!

Absoutley. Feels like both movies tries to capture all the elements of Alien/s. They're two different movies for a reason. You have to go one or the other. I like how this one feels like a straight horror again

Yeah. That's why I'm hoping they can incorporate the lore smartly here. Alien and Aliens were great because it was horror but there was also an engaging story to make the horror pop even more. A conspiracy even. Big Corpo screwing over innocent people and we are slowly getting layers peeled back while watching people fight for their lives. How deep does it go?! Let's get back to that!

Yeah, I agree. I feel like they set up a lot of cool shit as well for a sequel, but then Covenant disappointed. Killing off Shaw and then having David kill all the engineers kinda sucked imo

Late Night With The Devil, that found footage horror film, opens this weekend, may try to do a double feature with the new Ghostbusters
I dont think the new Ghostbusters will be very good but if Im gonna watch it all, I might as well get the best version of it I can, with the giant visuals and monsters speakers

Late Night With The Devil is getting great early reviews, currently has a 100% on Rotten Tomatoes

 
King Kong Vs Godzilla Part 2 comes out next weekend, maybe I could wait and attempt a tripper dipper but Ghostbusters will probably lose all the giant screens to King Kong and Late Night seems like one of those movies that will only be in theaters for a week before it moves to streaming, not sure I wanna risk those consequences
 
@My Spot was watching the stream earlier, I didnt realize they did such a hard sell putting over Ronnie Garvin in the lead up to the title win over Flair
The UWF show from September 19, 1987 was basically an hour long promo video for Garvin and the JCP studio show was showing all the battles between him and Flair over the past couple years
People try to blame Dusty for "killing" Garvins run but he did everything he could to set Garvin up for glory
 
They also played a dope ass Dusty highlights video set to Hank Jr - You Cant Judge A Book By Looking At Its cover

Yeah I kept seeing that too, I'm starting to understand why people were getting sick of him by the fall of 87.
