A lot of the boys on the AEW roster could learn a thing or three from Harry Stamper about guts and sacrifice, Mr Roll.
One of my other weird internet hobbies is reading movie scripts. The one for Armageddon has a scene that takes place when the other guys go to the stip club for the night. Harry takes that time and walks around downtown Houston and watches all the people innocently living their lives in blissful ignorance. He feels a renewed sense of duty and hope at the American spirt! I really wanted to see that.

Hello, Roll, is it CFB season yet, this Spring air has me anxious already!
Gonna be a long Summer. I haven't been to an A-Day since probably 2010 but I'm thinking about making the trip and going this year. Coach DeBoer needs my support! We need to show him 95,000 strong in the building for a practice!

I hope they release an extended cut of Iron Claw with the Lance stuff, the tiny scene he was in was interesting cause he was showboating in the ring while Kevin stood in the corner frustrated that Lance wouldn't tag him in, Id like to see how the Lance story in the film

To be honest, I'm kinda worried about this year, 8-5 is realistic for us and there's gonna be a lot of assholes dancing with delight to see us "fall" after everything that happened last year

I really wish you could know it was a championship season as you're living through it so you can savor each bite just a little more

Honestly though, it was one hell of an emotional rollercoaster with all the Harbaugh stuff that had so many ups and downs and had me elated at some points but then fraught with despair at others so I kinda got exactly what I always want

Did anyone watch the Sgt Slaughter doc on A&E, I really enjoyed it, lots of great old timey 70s territory footage and they stayed pretty true to the real story, that Patterson-Slaugter Alley Fight at MSG is still one of the greatest matches I ever saw

Had a little heat with Slaughter calling the AWA the minor leagues when he was there in the 70s, though

It was a helluva season. I have all these same fears. We just have to be grateful that we had a grace to fall from

They should have kept that scene! That's some real shit, too. The first year I got sober it was hard. You probably remember me telling you some stuff about it at the time. It takes about a year for all the hormones and brain chemistry to get to back to normal. So even though I stopped drinking I'd still get depressed pretty bad. One thing that helped was dragging my ass out into the world and seeing the people. In particular, families and little babies. It just put things in perspective for me and let me know that there are good people out there. Yeah, this world sucks and there is a lot of darkness running it but there are people worth fighting for. Always has been.

I don't usually watch the bios but this one I did. I had vague memories Slaughter in the WWF pre-Saddam, and of course I loved the GI Joe cartoon growing up, but I realized I knew little about the man himself. (I lived in the northeast and didn't have cable, so the only wrestling i got growing up was the F).

It was a good story. I wish they'd been able to manage the stadium for WM7. That would have been amazing.

I normally prefer a hike or natural trail gimmick but I took Tank to a park that leads to our little downtown area last week and we walked a trail to the town. There's a giant playground there and just walking by seeing all the kids and families enjoying their Saturday had that same energy. Kids flock to him too cause the main dog in Paw Patrol is a German shepherd so he was soaking up his attention too!

Is Tank good with kids, Roll?

Ole Pete was a fan of PDW during his little time in the sun back in the 2010's, no doubt about it

He's in this documentary I been wanting to watch, maybe I'll check it out tonight since its free on Youtube

Yes but he's so big and strong that he can hurt your without meaning to. He does this thing where he slaps his giant bear paw over your arm when you're petting him and he does it with full force every single time. So if it's a real little kid, I'll grab his collar real tight in a subtle "Don't fuck around" move and he knows what that means. He's also a big time licker as a thank you so you're gonna need to wash your hands afterward <Lmaoo>

Thats one of the main reasons I try to be so cheerful and outgoing when Im in public, Rex, i used to be a very different person and honestly i did not like that person one bit and it reflected everywhere I went
Giving love and smiles everytime I can really truly does nourish my soul and make me feel better in my emotional parts and give me a bit of strength, its those little fights every day, ya know...

I was surprised that Brother Brucie actually admitted ticket sales were the real reason for the move to the smaller building, in his kinda sorta Bruce Prichard bullshit kinda way
