So next week you have Trick cost Melo against Tony D, doesn't even have to be straight up interfering.

That sets up Trick beating Melo ending that feud. Melo goes on to Smackdown, Trick gets some more work in at NXT (which he needs).

Sets up Tony D vs Ilja, with Tony winning. Lets you see if Tony can carry the load for a while, eventually losing to Trick. Ilja gets called up and you see if his Mad Russian gimmick can get him over in front of bigger crowds (I hope so, but I can see him not being able to translate to the bigger audience).

Ilya’s corny promos will kill him on the main roster. His best chances are to have a mouthpiece, a faction, or to be booked in barn burner matches right out of the gate if they think his work alone will carry him.

Getting reps in on the road is fine, but she needs to be working with somebody like Nattie, not Valhalla.

They did the little bit where she was "training" with Gable, and that was fine for the feud they had going on at the time. But she is valet level talent, and I don't think will ever be anything more and they need to quit forcing it. If they really do want to have a female with the Alpha Academy who can wrestle, just bring up Thea.
