I'm a big fan of Danny McBride in his acting roles, hilarious in Pineapple Express, Hot Rod, Eastbound & Down, etc. but good lord him and his friends need to stop bringing back old beloved horror franchises.

Just caught up on the New Japan card from last night. Really good show, they've set up some interesting stuff for the future, and Mox v Shingo is my match of the year so far.

He was just an actor on that, his production company wasn't involved.

In the Halloween trilogy and now the new Exorcist trilogy, Danny McBride does the story and is an executive producer while his partner David Gordon Green is the director and executive producer and their production company Rough House Productions is one of the companies running the production.

It's weird that Kenny Powers is becoming the Hollywood go to big franchise horror guy lol

I stand by that Halloween 18 was good and set the table for a great trilogy. No idea what happened after that

Yeah I enjoyed the first one a lot and was super hyped for the other 2. Then they just went off the rails. The 3rd one was one of the most disappointed I think I've ever been for a movie.
