This was an excellent match with a long term storyline payoff. Rhea looses to Charlotte at Wrestlemania 36. It was a story that said Rhea was good but not ready. 4 years later, Rhea takes Charlotte, the crown jewel of the women's division since 2015, to the limit and gets the clean, definitive win. The match was as stiff and physical of a women's match that you'll see. Not only is the match itself what makes it my MOTY but the followup. Rhea has since become one of the biggest stars in WWE and is no doubt their top woman and probably top star outside Roman and Cody. She is money and carrying a stable that no one would care about without her. WWE has booked her on damn near every show since Mania for a reason.
I also think this will be the match that cements the end of the 4 Horsewomen era. Sasha is gone to not much fanfare, Charlotte is now on a second major injury, Bayley is more of a mouthpiece character and Becky is clinging to her relevance. It was one of the most significant matches for WWE this year and will only have increased importance in the years to come. It's Mami's company now so I dub the match

Congratulations Charlotte and Rhea for RSR's 2023 MOTY!
