I efedded and I mean EFED as in 50/50 angle/rp where it was 5-15 page RPs multiple times per competitor per match all written in novel style, for matches that again could be decided by the competitive writing aspect/creativity/drawing in audience or also decided by story line that made sense all feeding into shows that were diligently typed up by the roster themselves who were extra dedicated and usually ran well over 100pages typed up in matching format and 2 weekly shows and eventually rival brands, etc…

That was pretty deep, but I was also in HS and maybe a year or two of college when my creative writing and wrestle fandom were at their highest, but most of the people I was cooperating with were old asses like I am now. Sometimes I wish that shit would come back.

People like to retcon that Dusty was a bad booker which is complete bullshit, he booked big money in Florida and then turned Jim Crockett Promotions into the #2 promotion in the country on the strength of his booking and his eye for talent

I just watched this match from April '84 between Hogan and Afa, weird to see him wearing the Big Green belt on tv cause for so long i thought he never wore it after the night he won it
He also looks solid and powerful but not steroids big at all, very interesting to see, maybe cause he just got back from Japan
