Punk for real said "I'm home"?
He also said that he has, "changed" <Lmaoo>

The only good thing he said was that AJ Lee sends her regards. I still want to standing 69 her, B. And I'm not gonna apologize to anyone for being who I am!

I think a lot of that has to do with whatever they are setting up with Seth Rollins. One of them is flipping to heel eventually. Over the weekend Rollins made mention in the ring of Punk trying to destroy the WWE in the past and he got jumped in the ring today. So, he's still a face so far.

I could see either of them flipping, depending on crowd reactions to Punk. If the crowd accepts Punk, you go with him as the face, if not, you go with Rollins.

I expect we are in a holding pattern for now, until they figure out what to do with Punk. He can't cut a promo on AEW due to NDAs. He can't rage on WWE yet, as he just opted back in - would make no sense. No feuds set up yet. What's really to talk about?

You could have one of the faces from the winning team confront him for upstaging them. But they're all faces and that would come off as petty and small and that also forces your heel turn without much thought or long-term strategy. So, vanilla promo.

Hey, man. I just want to standing 69 AJ Lee.

I heard RAW sucked, the Punk promo sucked and the crowd sucked.

Confirm or deny? Anyone but Lake or Deezy.
Creeds were great on Raw. Most of the rest was a bit meh. The crowd was definitely sub par. I actually liked Punk’s promo. The company man guy that says “I’m home” is a special kind of heat with the neck beards.

I found it extremely fascinating how Punk is back, gives a complete bullshit promo about how much he´s miss this/he´s home, fans eat it up, reports come back that everyone in the back is surprised about how nice and humble he acted. It´s groundhog day over and over and over again, and he´ll starting acting like a fucking prick in a few months, probably have a fallout, then quit/get fired, people will start especulating about him coming back to AEW... rinse and repeat. Motherfucker has made a career about being so controversial that everyone is buzzing where he´s going to be next. Smartest guy in wrestling in a very long time.

The only thing I´m curious to see unfold is if HHH/Vince are stubborn enough to never give him that Wrestlemania main spot he´s always vouched for.

Are the neckbeards really the audience that WWE is catering to though? I always hear how wrestling companies need to stop catering to the hardcores and expand their audience, yet it's now a good thing that WWE is using one of their biggest signings in years to stick it to a niche audience.

I think this is his last chance. It'll have to be Impact or NWA after this lol

Man I don´t know, wrestling seems to be one of the few places where no matter how badly you screw up, if the fans want you, they´ll bring you back, and the thing about Punk is there are thousands of retards that will always chant his name no matter what. Dude could shag their girlfriend and impregnate their mother and they´d still buzz online about him making a suprise appearance at some Chicago wrestling show.

Didn't see the promo, but from what I've seen from the reaction, Punk was neutered due to the NDAs and morphed back into the good guy role he was playing in AEW for the first 2-3 months. The 2 guys that got more out of him where Kingston and MJF and WWE has nobody on that level on the mic.

The Bret Hart tribute act is on, he'll be slapping his hands and stomping his feet for a reaction in no time.

Punk chants get booed at AEW shows now. Even in Chicago. So I really don't see AEW taking him back.

TNA would definitely sweep him up in a heartbeat if they could.

He'll always have a hardcore fanbase though no matter what he does.

Well, that was a wet fart of a promo, but given that he doesn't really have anything to work with yet, I guess that was expected when you give the guy 10 minutes to yap.

Looks like he's setting himself to be some arrogant "savior" of the WWE heel, though. That could be fun. He gets to be his true self.
