I know he supposedly got fired on his wedding day but is anyone responsible for that still in power or even there? Vince is a mascot at this point. Johnny Ace is gone. HHH was stuck in NXT land in 2014. Nick Khan wasn't there yet.

I was hoping he was bout to go in on Seth when he said "not everybody.." I would have liked to have seen a set up for his first program there

He wanted out anyway.....whats the problem? Sounds like a wedding gift to me.
 
I don't really know what I was expecting.

I did expect him to talk about how he's back for the fans and blah blah blah

Didn't expect him to felate WWE like that about "being home". Figured he'd have some "pipe bomb" edge to it or something to keep it interesting.
 
I suspect hell be HoF bound next year and work an Edge schedule.
Get some wins, put some guys over, WWE gets merch cuts ad lifetime use of his stuff in the HoF.
Even if he screws up, they make money and can put him in games

It was the beginning of Trip's hybrid role of an executive and wrestler. They had some issues. I imagine Trips being forced to retire makes things easier

I bet HHH still doesn't like him but respects him for having the guts to do MMA.
 
And as much as I've shit on Punk over the years this was the first time I've watched a full episode of Raw (or at least had it on in the background) in a LONG time.
