Pittsburg won their section but they need to win two more games to win the state title in their classification (1A). There are 14 classifications (15 counting open division).
The open division is 16 teams ranked by a committee regardless of classification. They play to be the Pope of Chili State. So the winner can technically claim they're the best team in CA and not just in their classification.
