We had a huge shouting match last month, two days in a row. I was standing up for the installers and shop guys and it got very heated.

I was hoping to make it through the year so I wouldn't lose out on the bonus I busted my ass for, but in the grand scheme of things I really don't care.

Dang, my dawg Nakanishi apparently isn't doing well after retirement from New Japan in 2020. A fan recognized him working at a gas station and posted a picture of him on social media, a magazine saw the post and went to the gas station to interview him. Some cliff notes:

When he retired he expected to take over his father's tea farm, but his father and his older brother fell ill and they lost the tea farm before he got his chance to run it. He wanted to start a personal trainer business and right when retired and was trying to start it, COVID hit. So he had to take a job working at a gas station and he works 11 hours a day 6 days a week and even still has to run errands for the gas station on his day off. Nakanishi said he struggles hard and it took him 10 tries to pass a hazardous materials operators exam that high schoolers pass in one try.

Good for him for busting his ass and making an honest living though instead of becoming a massive degen like a lot of old ex wrestlers.
