@Pliny Pete Did you ever go see rasslin at the Kaiser Convention Center? I'm listening to a BTS episode covering August 1988 and JCP ran there for the Bash tour with Wargames as the main event. Attendance was 6,000 which isn't bad I guess since the AWA had just ran a month earlier and only did 1,500.

I'll tell ya exactly how that happened, crystal meth, he was sitting there spagoodled outta his mind playing with himself for a few days
When he finally came down he noticed his foot was swollen to bajeezus from lack of circulation, thats why you can see the sock indentations on his ankle

No, I never saw matches there but I spent one of the most amazing nights of my life at that building, Cyberfest, October '95, a night I will never forget

Did u go to any raves at Home Base after they stopped booking Kaiser?
 
@Pliny Pete Public Enemy had a concert there during the 91 Oakland fires. And a shoot mummy was found in one of the walls a couple of years ago but apparently it was just some missing homeless dude.

Yea, the International Rave Center next to Oakland Coliseum, spent many nights in that ole maze of warehouses and some wild insane adventures

They had a great hof brau right there where we'd fuel up on some hearty meat and potatoes before the night of chaos began

Yea, I remember when they found the body
 
The Homie Base/International Rave Center was great but eventually it got played out and that's what caused me to leave the rave scene after awhile
Every single party was there cause it was a great wide open space right next to the Coliseum Bart station so it was easy to get to but eventually it just got boring going there every other weekend
I was never into the the music or the drugs, just the sights and the adventure of it all, got stale after a whole year of the same thing

Did some amazing exploring and found some great nooks and crannies in that huge interconnected maze of warehouses though
