Have you seen that Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark movie that came out a few years ago, it was really good, I liked it way more than I thought I would, it's similar to Goosebumps but a little creepier
I loved that movie
And the books too.
Really appreciated how they used the iconic zit story which was my favorite.

I think the only Why Files episode I've enjoyed in the last few months has been the Aliens and/or Archons using the Moon to harvest our souls one from like 6 episodes ago.

I still gotta give the Plum Island one from last week a shot, I've always been interested in stories about the weird CIA and other government facilities.

I started watching Plum Island but it didn't hold my attention

They got the podcast and The What Files(history stories) launching soon, I like AJ as a storyteller and their production values are top notch, hopefully those are good but he's gonna be stretched thin
I see why they built that huge studio, they're gonna need to hire some more people to handle all this work load
I was disappointed. Not in the episode itself. That was a real good dive into bio warfare and the tertiary dangers of it. (Richard Nixon did some awful things but damned if that man didn't believe in a better world.) No, I'm upset that they started on the "Montauk Monster" and then abandon the idea of genetically engineering macro organisms within about 30 seconds. Either give us a video on it or a video on killer bugs. I'd have watched either.

I've been playing through Mortal Kombat 1, they've actually given Sonya Blade the RKO as a move.

I've seen Reiko's brainbuster, and Spinebuster, and Geras does a Bulldog. But there was actually an RKO out of nowhere.

Great analysis Pete. There were quite a few guys who could get heat in the NE and nationwide. Nobody could have been Hogan at that time. Orndorff had the better body but not the personality. JYD was getting older, fatter, and more addicted by the day. Cornette has proposed Austin Idol but nah.

People always overlook the most obvious choice which is Sgt Slaughter, he wasnt gonna hit the heights that Hogan did, no one could do that, but for the blueprint to world domination that Vince had planned out, he was the best option if Hogan didnt exist
He was an all American tough guy ready to battle foreign evil doers, had a decent amount of charisma, could connect with the children, his gimmick was ready made for cartoons, cereal boxes, toys, posters, etc, was a solid talker that could go on all the talk shows and local newscasts and guest shots on the A-Team and Saturday Night Live
Every single thing that Hulk did to help push the WWF into mainstream entertainment, Slaughter could do
Slaughter had started to get lazy by that point but I got a sneaky suspicious that Vince could work his Jedi magic and get Slaughter in the right state of mind to hit the gym and become a mega star
He probably wouldnt last as long as Hogan did, maybe a 2 year run instead of 4, but he could get the WWF off and running like Vince wanted

I remember when he was in that kid's show called Hang Time as the coach of the basketball team.

Kind of weird to find out that the affable coach from a kids sitcom, was actually a mean as fuck linebacker.

Where else does an RKO come from?

I saw a ton of posts on r/NFL about Hang Time and I had no idea what that was.
