Do you remember in the I Quit match when Austin kicks him in the balls and JR says “that was a low one! Down there around Saskatoon!”

Saskatoon is in Canada. Why would that be a reference to low? I don’t understand it and it’s been bothering me the last few days

I think it was because Saskatoon is a notorious grimey town and the only the lowest of the low live. Ol JR went deep on that reference.

Bret Hart shockingly beat Ric Flair for the WWF title with zero build up at a house show in Saskatoon back in '92, maybe JR is still upset about that
