He did pull it off clean. That double bounce he did is a pretty common spot.

Rey Fenix does it in most of his matches too. I remember when AEW first started, people who were unfamiliar thought Fenix was botching too lol

I agree that the unnecessary bouncing up and dumb was dumb but I dont see what was wrong with the actual flying maneuver, he executed exactly what he was attempting to execute, looking rough makes it look real imo
This whole "moves must look silky smooth" thing is just another Vince-ism and once again you people have all fallen victim to his nonsense

Guys, I am officially getting excited as fuck about next weeks show!
I havent been to a legit Lucha Libre show since July 30, were not counting that struggle ass show I went to in October when there was like 12 people in the whole gym and Juventud refused to take a picture with my nephew unless I paid him, and that is way too freaking long!
Im honestly surprised that I've been able to last this long, Ole Pete needs that live entertainment to sustain himself, no doubt about it
 
And Im probably gonna eat some chips tonight when I'm watching the Kings game, not sure what kind yet

Plus it can be kayfabe explained that White was pushing him off balance, so he needed to bounce back up. That's instead of someone just watching their opponent walk along the ropes and jump on them.

Either way it's wrestling and if you over analyse any simple spot, you're gonna realise it looks silly and isn't realistic in the slightest

Even I have to take a break from his nonsense occasionally. Nobody is better at talking for 10 minutes without saying a thing. No wonder he was a politician
