PWD PWD 1102: Working Stomp?

My mother in law moved in with her partner, and they needed a washer for their apartment. So we went and bought a Samsung washer for ourselves so we could give then our old one.

I have no idea how to use this thing. I think it may be a smart washer? I can hook it up to the WiFi in our home, and there are like a hundred different options to choose from, and I just want some cold water with some detergent in there, but I dont know how! And then once we got some bedding in there, after an hour I was checking behind to make sure there were no leaks, and I pressed against the on/off button, and shut it off, and it wouldnt resume the cycle!

And it turns out our old washer doesnt even fit in their laundry closet! Why me! Why!

I got the dryer a couple years ago, so it is nice to have a matching set now. I've never had a washer that was anything but the dial though so it is a tad overwhelming. Maybe I'll scan the QR code when I get home.

I was just excited that it uses 1/4 of the electricity of my previous washer. That thing was from the 90s and beat the fuck up.

I’ve had terrible look with Samsung appliances, so have my in-laws. Could just be the specific years and they’ve improved. Whirlpool and GE worth the extra money imo

Maybe its the years. Mine are within the past 2 years, fridge included and all have been stellar. I love the dryer in particular; the lowest heat setting is perfect and keeps my tshirt graphics looking like new.

After we set up the washer we did start looking at stoves and fridges, both of which our current ones came with the house and will probably die soon. I think we found what range stove we will probably be getting. What kinda fridge you got?
