Finish wasn't great. Logano won by almost a second and had it in hand for most of the second half. I've always had an issue with Cup guys running truck and Busch(I'll always call it that) series events. Tom Brady doesn't get to go back and play for Michigan just because he feels like it.

Yea, I never liked it either, I understand it makes business sense but it ruins the spirit of the game, stifles young talent and robs us fans of an exciting series full of future stars

I also watched the last two innings of the Braves game after it was over. First game I've watched this year and I was digging the pitch clock. I could feel the sense of urgency and pressure on the pitcher to protect the lead as the Braves got runners on base and he was staring down a 15 second clock to fire the next pitch instead of trying to compose himself. I really liked it but I can understand why a purist fan would hate it. What are your thoughts as a longtime baseball fan?

Once again, I understand it from a business sense, you need to jazz the game up for the smart phone dopamine generations, but one of the things Ive always loved about baseball is its relaxing nature
You dont need to hang on every pitch, you can put the game on in the background and slowly follow along as you go about your day
Now I look up and were in the 5th inning after 45 minutes, WTF!

I admit that it does make the game a bit more intense and more arcade-y so Im sure I will come to enjoy it but I just hate change

I buy that. I agree with my big homie Rich Eisen that it needs to be shut off in the 9th. He used the argument of the magic of that last at bat at WBC beaten Ohtani and Trout. It lasted forever but the tension just kept building and the pitch clock would’ve taken that away. Also a game shouldn’t end on a pitch clock violation so just eliminate it for the finish.
