@Pliny Pete Another thing that sucked about TBS buying Crockett out is no more David Crockett on commentary. At least for me. I know he gets a lot of hate but I love the enthusiasm.

I liked David Crockett too, the hate on him was only coming from the early smart mark hate and misery dirt sheet crowd and even some of them have admitted that they were wrong

He was far from the best ever but his ridiculous yelling and getting so caught up in the moment added a nice layer of enjoyable absurdity to the JCP studio show

There's a lot of similarities between David Crockett and Jerry LawLers wild Attitude Era commentary
