In flames are one of my all time fav bands and one of the reasons I play guitar. Fact there doing a song from the old albums now just gets me hard.

Waiting for another aus tour.

Meshuggah is Good too but I haven't enjoyed any album since obzen or so.

The tour dates with converge too would be amazing.

I will have to look up these bands. Intrigued

Was it fun, Roll?
Hell yeah, we had a good time. Nothing like coming down to the wire against a team you’re supposed to win to make you feel alive. you can’t beat literally the last play of the game deciding it. Can’t wait to get to Knoxville now and get a piece of them Vols. I want, I NEED IT. How’d the tournament go?

I wrote about it in the log. It wasn't his day. Kid couldnt get out of first gear. Lost twice and was eliminated. He didn't get pinned and he was in some bad spots at least. He'll be back.

Technically season hasn't started yet for his school. This was a side thing. But yeah it was rust. He hasn't had a real match since February since he skipped freestyle season. This was a huge tournament. There wasn't any scrubs there. He needs to get used to the pace again. This is why me and his coaches want him wrestling year round. He gets it now. Took him getting whipped to sink in, the kid can be a stubborn sumbitch like his old man sometimes.

Just watched the Memphis episode of Tales from the Territories. Great show. Gonna definitely watch this entire series.

It's hard to say what In Flames album to start with cause I don't know much of what you like outside of Ghost.

If you like more old school melodic death metal, Swedish metal...

If you enjoy harsher:
The Jester Race
Whoreacle

More melodic and clean but still epic harmomies and riffs:
Colony
Clayman

If you like more mid 00s metal-mainstreamish metal
Come Clarity

They have been through a bunch of different Sounds/eras

Meshuggah are stupid influential and basically spawned the hole "Djent" genre cause around the time of the "Nothing" ep they started using 8/7 strings. But even since the early 90s they were doing crazy guitar tones and time signature.

Their three best imo are:
Destroy, Erase, Improve
Chaosphere
Nothing EP

Obzen is their more modern master piece. The song "Bleed" has become some what mythical in modern metal due to its insane time signatures and drumming. Haake is one of the best to ever play drums and ALOT of metal albums the past 20 years use the drum kit he helped program - the drum kit from hell.

Converge is hard to recommend cause they are so aggressive and heavy but "hardcore"...yet progressive.

Just listen to their opus "Jane Doe". If you don't dig it, you won't like em

Sorry, metal/punk/music in general had always been my thing and when it involved my fav bands I get stupid.

He'll tonight I was chilling in my room of doom listening to recorded by Clutch, All Them Witches and Depeche Mode whilst extreme rules was on mute on my TV until cool.stuff happened.

Ps whoever told Bianca to start wearing trunks instead of pants deserves a raise.

in flames did a bunch of songs off the first 2 albums

I've seen the recent sets where they do one from each of the old era. Behind Space/stand Ablaze/Graveland/the Hive/Scorn/episoded 666.

I've seen em do Trigger/pinball map/only for the weak so they don't count lol

Also if you saw one of the shows torche was on...damn you lucked out. Great band. Announced their current run is the end

I just noticed Dom has feminist fish hook mouth

Gage cut a promo after about why he respects Mox because the other company tells him where he can't work and Mox tells him he'll work wherever he wanted so then I started a "fuck Tony Khan" chant then Gage said to cut his music, then I started a "fuck Metallica" chant.
