I just wish I could have got him to the vet. But he died around 2pm on yesterday I don't even think the anti biotics would have time to work. I don't know, though. At least they could have told me what was wrong and I would know if it was something I was doing wrong. He was strong all last week until he got sick. He weight was good, his poops were good. He was eating and drinking.

I had a pupper named Major who was at my parents' house that had cancer while I was in college. He had a tumor in his chest and he would never lay on his side because of it. He would eat hot dogs in a superfood mix from PetSmart, but he would only eat from my hand. My brother and I had a plan to get him to a vet in Wilmington, NC on a Friday and he died the Tuesday before.

I felt much like you do now, but I took solace in knowing he wasn't suffering. He was a great dog and now he gets to live pain free in that field in the sky. He'll always live in your heart and be looking down.
