I actually agree with Dave here. Most successful business owners / entrepreneurs have many failed ventures. The point is to have one hit. Five projects, on hit and ur good. Repeat.

It’s like that quote that always goes around from one of the PayPal founders saying that he failed in 4 straight start ups but the 5th one was PayPal.I actually agree with Dave here. From what I gather, Bron and Gacy actually had a really good match. Nothing stood out major but it wasn’t bad. Pretty much every build just wasn’t very compelling so there wasn’t a lot to get excited about going into it bedsides Toxic Attraction’s entranceWwe has put together a good run of ppvs since mania (not counting nxt). How was nxt last night

Yeah whenever I see people criticize someone like Vince for business I can’t help but think they’ve never embarked on anything ambitious. I approach my science projects like this - 80% will fail, 10% will have some mild success, 10% will give good results that are publishable. But I’m taking on very ambitious projects. It’s like that quote that always goes around from one of the PayPal founders saying that he failed in 4 straight start ups but the 5th one was PayPal.
The only thing that I could truly criticize him for is the WBF. A bodybuilding federation in the 90’s built on a PPV model had zero chance of success and was strictly a vanity project for him because he liked bodybuilding. Taking money away from his true business and paying those guys more than he was paying his wrestlers was just ridiculous.Yeah whenever I see people criticize someone like Vince for business I can’t help but think they’ve never embarked on anything ambitious. my first biotech startup already failed. But now I’m on my second one getting up and running soon. It will prob fail. But if one ever succeeds it will prob result in a therapeutic or diagnostic worth a ton of money.
i think the big difference between Vince and a lot of people, is Vince found success in his first industry, and then failed in every other one.The only thing that I could truly criticize him for is the WBF. Things like the XFL, movies, music, boxing PPVs all seem like perfectly reasonable ventures to me for a man steeped in the entertainment industry
The thing about that peiple dotn take into account is that it’s a huge venture that basically requires 100%. It’s wild to have anytime to even try anything else. Most of those other ventures aren’t getting a fraction of the attention necessary to have significant success.i think the big difference between Vince and a lot of people, is Vince found success in his first industry, and then failed in every other one.
Most people do not score immediately.
