We were on our walk this morning and Daisy was smelling some weeds when all of a sudden she started freaking out, sneezing nonstop, coughing and scratching at her face
I was like dammit I hope she didnt sniff up a foxtail and get it stuck in her sinuses
We kept walking but she kept rubbing her face on the ground and scratching it, she was obviously in distress, I tried to inspect her but it was dark out so we went back home
Her eye was closed so I was worried that the foxtail was all the way inside her head and I was preparing myself for the huge vet bill I was about to face
When we got home I started inspecting her and when I pulled her eye open she had a foxtail jammed all the way up top and behind her eyeball stabbed into the pink meat
Luckily I was able to pull it out but man that poor doggie musta been in some horrible pain
Her eye is still a little swollen but I think shes fine
Shes milking it hard for attention though, but thats cool, she deserves all the sympathy rubs she wants after that ordeal
