I've been that guy with the woman complaining the entire time wanting to go home during the band I was there for, it's happened numerous times with different women.

I started going to concerts solo a few years ago, it felt "lonely" at first, cause I don't really socialize with strangers cause I'm hard of hearing and carrying on a convo with a stranger with music blasting won't happen, but I realized I actually got to enjoy the entire show every time I went solo. I went to a couple of festivals solo and that was great cause I could just walk around, jump from stage to stage, go hit the tents for drinks, and do whatever, whenever I felt like it without someone being annoying and not wanting to do things.

I've had women wanting to go home early during so many amazing shows. Black Sabbath with original lineup during Ozzfest 2005, this chick soldiered on all day through everything else at Ozzfest, 2 fucking songs into Black Sabbath and it was constant complaining about wanting to leave. Same chick a year later, chills through an opening act that nobody gives a shit about, Tool comes on stage and she spends the entire Tool set complaining about wanting to go home. Another chick a few years back, we're chillin through Thrice and Rise Against which are two bands I don't give a fuck about, Deftones comes on, which is one of my top 5 favorite bands of all time and I get to hear her voice in my ear the entire set about wanting to leave.

I wish I had some dude friends who are into going to concerts lol cause I damn sure am never taking a woman to any shows anymore.

At Ozzfest 01 I broke my elbow in the pit at 10am during the opening act of the 3rd stage.

I wasn't missing Sabbath...

Drove home, slept on it and went to the ER the next morning.

I go to shows by myself nearly exclusively unless a friend wants to come. Ive got tickets to a bunch of shows coming up this year now and all going by myself - Gorillas, Boris, Idles, Penny wise/Circle Jerks.

My tastes in music are fairly different to most my friends/people I know and Im a music obsessed goof ball, so I dont give zero fucks. Im going to see the bands I want to see.
I went to a few with an ex. It wasnt fun.
When I went to see queens of the stone age - my get drunk with friendfs shows - she was wahh im too drunk
When I went to see Dillinger Escape plan on their final aus tour ever (one of my ALL time favourite bands) I told her she didnt have to come. She didnt need to at all, cause I knew she doesnt enjoy most of their music and I told her I was going to go absolutely fucking mental cause of how much I love Dillinger.
She made me feel like shit because as soon as they started one of my favourite songs I just ran into the pit to get close to the stage, so she bailed and just hung outside in the foyer of the venue until I was finished.

Sorry babe, your attitude is shit and love is fleeting. it was dillinger escape plans last fucking show ever in sydney. Ben played guitar whilst standing on my shoulders. Greg stage dived, then climbed on my shoulders to dive further into the crowd. I got the setlist.
