Watched The Batman today. Wasn't impressed. Too damn long, and couldn't see shit half the movie because of the lighting they used (or didn't use in this case).

It's too long for home viewing. Like my brother from another mother @RollSonnenRoll pointed out. I realized that watching it at home the other day. I still enjoyed it. I like this version of Batman.

Even in the theatre, about the time the funeral scene turned into a 20 minute sequence I started checking the watch

That was a little off for me too. Bruce was basically just Batman without the mask, even in public. The entire point is that they’re the two polar opposite sides of his mind

Keaton didn’t really do a good job of that either though so it’s not a deal breaker
