When WWE were doing the "Billionaire Ted" skits, it didn't make anyone think "Yeah! Take that Dubya See Dubya!" everyone thought it was lame and desperate. It was even more lame when when TNA were doing it to WWE.

It especially doesn't make sense when the roster is packed out with ex-WWE guys at this point.

He's done it multiple times to AEW though so y'know. Saying Omega should get out of the minor leagues and face him at Wrestlemania and also saying AEW is taking food off his family's table

I always say, AEW is a billionaire indie show.
Has a lot of inside jokes and wrestlers you wouldn't know of if you didn't keep up with the indies or japan.

If they are happy with ~1 mil viewers a week, then they will continue whatever they are doing.

I don't think it made WWF look second rate when they'd throw shit at other promotions. It's not like they only did Billionaire Ted skits. I mean the whole DX thing or Gillberg for example were after WCW started losing the ratings war. I think it makes companies look arrogant and somewhat insecure in their own ego when they refuse to acknowledge wrestling exists outside of their own bubble. AEW mention every notable promotion in the world and sometimes poke fun at them too as well as themselves. People only seem to cry about it when WWE get mentioned

Not everyone can be world champion and especially not within the first 3 years of the promotion. You also risk hurting their stock by having them hang around the title picture too much and not winning. MJF should be champion within the next year imo but for right now he's in the perfect position until then. I've never seen Sammy as anything other than mid card, so I wouldn't put him in the title picture. Wardlow and Darby should definitely hold the title at some point too but it's probably too soon for em right now.
