Guys the check engine light is back on in my car, I’ve only had it for like 45 days and I took it in last week when the bight came on paid like $100 for them to te me nothing was wrong, and cause nothing was wrong my warranty didn’t cover them checking. It would not covered if something was wrong. Now the light is back again.
Auto Zone will do a check engine light diagnostic for free....
Yeah that’s a pretty shitty dealership to charge someone who just bought a car from them 45 days ago for diagnostics that didn’t show anything. Definitely take it to another one.

Oxygen sensor most likely. No big deal. The light went off because they rest the system but didnt fix it so it takes a while for the light to come back on. Tighten your fuel cap too.
My old truck was bad about that. O2 sensors showing failure cause the damn fuel cap isn’t tight enough.

Just tape a picture of your sweetie over the light
Problem solved

I’ve literally always gone to the dealership. I thought you had to to keep your warranty.

Wait I don’t have to go to the dealership?

No. It's a simple process where they plug a diagnostic tool into your car, the tool shows codes for what is wrong and then they look up the codes on the computer.

Auto Zone and places like it will do it for you for free.

You can even do it yourself, the tool is like $20 and you can google the codes.

Yeah, thats why ive been confused over it. Like was it a slip in time or did I see it differently haha
Orton pulled it off a couole weeks ago on RAW. So I guess he solved the no neck equation

Do it myself lol.

I don’t even put in washer fluid or pump gas.

But good to know. I mean if it’s nothing great. I just don’t want to be paying like $100 a week for diagnosis.

I’ve iterations sways gone to the dealership. I thought you had to to keep your warranty.
they give u a scanner that u hooks up to a plug under ur steering wheel. doesnt do a thing to ur warranty. u hook it up. press a button. let it scan. when its done u bring it inside and they look at the results and give u a printout.

Wish I had known that before. Last time my light was in Florida, I went to the auto place near my apartment. They woukd give me the code for free, but if I wanted to know the actual issue,it was like 100 for the diagnostic.

I just took the code and looked it up
