Hows the tournament going?

About to start here soon. It's a different tournament, only 20 minutes away. Thursday night his coaches wanted him to drop from 152 to 145. They don't have anyone at 145. I got him down to 144. They wanted him to start the new weight at this JV tournament close by. More conveneniant for us since it's close. After this he'll be back at 145 varsity. These JV kids are about to learn a thing or three.

I got 3 guys wrestling in 3 different tournaments yesterday and today. They're round robin style events, not brackets. My boys went 4-1, 4-1, and 4-0. Not bad for 3 freshmen wrestling varsity.

Yup. One of my freshmen guys is normally a 105er who walks around at about 96. They bumped him up to 113 last night for a one off match with a senior. Ooofff...in some states that probably would have counted as a hate crime.
