I keep dart frogs. 2 of them are Golden (Phyllobates Terribilis). In the wild, this creature is one of the most poisonous on the planet. Enough toxin in one to kill two adult male elephants if I recall correctly. This is the variety that was commonly used by local tribes to lace their arrows when hunting.

Captive bred dart frogs are not poisonous at all, as they acquire their toxicity from the food they eat in the wild. Still never a good idea to handle any frog with bare hands, should always have nitrile/latex gloves on.

Russians have always come up with some cool methods for assassination. Uranium pellet injection via umbrella, poisonous frogs......right down to the primitive out the window you go. What a world!
