I like this version better .

But I will agree with you that is one of the best ones AM ever did

That is a pretty cool version.

If anyone likes Descendents (everything sucks, cool to be you era) these guys have hints of it.

Im really into demos man I love that shit

This is a fave of mine.

I'm from NJ (most of the bands I've been posting are from the area) and Catch 22 was HUGE when i was in HS, but the only versions of their songs i could ever listen to were the ones on the shitty demo cassette i had.

Actually i think i was in middle school when this came out.

Yea keasby came out my jr year I think. Saw em with the suicide machines and the pilfers and was one of the most fun shows I ever been to .

I remember when my moms died of cancer and everyone asked me If I liked that song and I was like I liked it a lot more before it was relevant ya know.

Still a good jam and good band but people can be goonly sometimes

Sorry to hear that, man.

Forest show i went to was The Ataris when they were just starting to catch on. They played with this band i liked Humble Beginnings

Second show...also the Ataris, but i went to see Catch 22 and Bigwig who opened.

I saw The Suicide Machines open for Sick of it All. Weird line up.

Suicide machines a home town band to me so I have seen them play with a whos who of the punk ska world . My faves were when they would play with these guys

That was local 90s as it got in my area

Do you like the White Stripes or any of the proto punk stuff from Detroit?

Honestly, outside of Slapstick i don't especially like any ska/ska punk bands.

This is one that i thought was ok that probably wouldn't get mentioned. Doesn't seem like your brand of ska though.

Love slapstick like ednas goldfish they were on lots of comps I had back in the day. I would have posted some of this already if I woulda remembered too. One of the reasons I post this shit at such a high rate is that it pops in my head and 2 seconds later I get distracted and its gone if I dont.

I have forgotten so many awesome bands and songs and sometimes need my memory jolted .

Do not like the white stripes in the slightest. I like a lot of musics but im also picky in the strangest of ways. Im not sure what proto punk from detroit is and would need you to post some of those bands for me to answer that question

The Stooges, MC5, Death...

White Stripes are pretty awesome imo, but i gravitate toward their stuff that has more protopunk influence

Lol duh I feel dumb now.

I kinda like the stooges and iggy but im not real big on that stuff.

Im real big on 2 tone and third wave ska

and then punk bands are hit or miss with me from the birth in 77 til now.
I like the second wave with bad religion and social distortion minor threat etc

Heres a fun comp reppin the midwest from when Jump Up was king of my world .

I like the late 60s and 70s stuff, the 90s stuff, but very little from the 80s.

Bad religion is one of the bands that i much prefer after they got out of the 80-85 sound.

My favorite from them:

And

My favorite from them:

I love both of these,

Its a bit of a greatest hits album but I love all ages because all of my fave BR songs are on it and I love tested even more for being the greatest live album ever made

I also really liked cold as the clay

You cant really go wrong with anything bad religion related though and even the crappy crap is better than most other bands

Got distracted for a second. IMO this is the best none special bad religion album
