Publix sandwiches>Subway

Subway is awful. Their meat is of the absolute poorest quality and their sandwiches are grossly over priced.

Subway was amazing in the 90's and then they changed their bread, been meh ever since.

I'll take quiznos over subway every single day. Their subs taste better and are child molestation-free.

What the fuck is Publix? Subway isn't that great, is good in a pinch but there are better sandwiches out there.
It's like the only grocery chain they have in Florida.

I miss those sandwiches. There aint no Publix here out west.

Publix fried chicken is good too.

I always thought NJ was the only place that calls them subs. In PA they are called Hoagies, and NY calls them Heros. I thought every else either called them hoagies, heros, or rolls.

There are trader joes, fresh markets, still have winn-dixie here and there. Even an Albertsons in some areas. Publix is the best regular one though. My girl works for one.

She sounds poor.

For those who do not know.

When I have to go to subways I get a salad or a veggie delight. Occasionally I'll get a veggie patty.
Delis in NYC have the best sandwiches and it isn't even close - Specifically King's DelI on the corner of Kingsbridge and University in The Bronx.

Publix is pretty god like but it's not hard to make a better sub compared to Subway.

Eww I wouldn't be caught dead in the Bronx. I wish I could instantly translocate from Manhattan to the Hamptons so I never had to actually go through Queens or Brooklyn either.

You know who REALLY has the best sandwiches in New York? Services station deli counters in the sticks.

I love driving through there. Fill the tank and grab a sandwich, roast beef carved straight from an actual roast. Probably the best road food I have ever had.

I think Dagwoods is a similar model to Subway but vastly superior.

I love that they slice the meat and cheese just before preparing the sub, it makes a huge difference.
