PS5 announced for 2020 Holiday Season

Got bored so I booted up Skyrim SE which is my favorite game of the last 10 years and it looks great on PS5. Still a good looking game and that buttery smooth frame rate.
 
I’ve been trying to keep my eyes open for a PS5 for my older brother. Walmart’s Canadian site will post them at midnight EST periodically, last month on January 19th and then last night too but I checked 20 minutes too late and they were gone. Fuck, I really want to play Squadrons with him.
 
@dezzy rumour is that Game are supposed to drop tomorrow likely between 8-9am. They have about 15,000 consoles and there are said to be more digital consoles available over the next month.
 
@Lovestorm ASDA just had some for about 2 seconds...

GAME doesn’t have a login queue or anything, twitter seems to be sure it’s today though
 
the GAME site wouldn't load for ages, by the time i got in queue it said more than an hour

check out the discord listed here. They usually predict the times rather well too. On drop days they also have links to bundles/consoles before they are even searchable on the site. So you can literally spam the ‘ad to cart’ or ‘pre order’ around the time until it goes live.



game dropped a few bundles 1330 last time after a early morning drop so you might be lucky. I was today. For example I had this link up and was spamming the bundle I wanted leading up to 0945.

also what they advise on game is to stay logged out and buy as a guest as it regularly signs you out anyway and they have a queue to log in as well as a wait to order
 
@ICHEERTHEBULL yeh was all set up the same as you but didn't get into the queue early enough somehow, site wouldn't load for a minute as they dropped

completely put me off now as i'm letting myself get pissed off over a fuckin game lol, will try again one last time then after that i'm waiting on regular stock

Depending on the price, Im looking at this being a day 1 buy. Here's hoping to mostly wireless....

Not everyone has a PS5 for the collection, and this is completely free so anyone without PS plus can get it.

Yes, a bit redundant for PS5 owners but as we see in this thread, still a lot of people who can’t grab one. Plus there’s no need for PS+ it’s 100% free.

Yeah was also one of ps pluses games in March 2018, least its free to everyone this time.

It's part of the play at home scheme like last year when the Uncharted 1-3 collection and journey were free to everyone.

Glad to see that’ll continue. Gives an entirely new audience to these games. I never would’ve picked up either if I had to pay.
