Anyone check their 2020 wrap up on Playstation.com? I know my play times for two big exclusives this year; Ghost of Tsushima (60+ hours) and The Last of Us 2 (about 25 hours) but neither were on my top three played of the year.

1. Apex Legends (211)
2. Red Dead Redemption 2 (103 hours)
3. The Witcher 3 (81 hours)

Crazy thing about the last two was that was my second playthrough of RDR2 and at least my third playthrough of Witcher 3.

989 total hours.

I had a weird glitch today where my Spiderman game crashed. Restarted the game and my game file wasn't there. Then I tried to close it again and it crashed again. Tried to start the game twice and gave me an error that was reportable. Closed it and tried to open another app (Crunchyroll) and that crashed... I am like wtf... it was a really bad freeze and I thought for a moment my console bricked but it cleared after 30 seconds. Started another game, loaded a saved file, game played okay, closed it. Started up Spiderman game again and..... everything was back to normal. My save file was there... Started the game and everything played normal. WEIIIIIRD...

I’m shocked, I played Fall Guys for 80 hours this year. Was my most played game lmao.

Second wasn’t even close with FF7: Remake at 44.

1. Bloodborne 68 hours
2. Dark Souls III 45 hours
3. Doom Eternal 41 hours


Does this thing count Netflix, Disney+ or Amazon Prime to the totals? Because the thing says like 751 hours total for me and that simply cannot be accurate. Aside from the above 3 games I probably put in about 30ish hours for Dark Souls Remastered, maybe 20ish hours for Demon’s Souls, and then maybe 10-20 hours a piece each for Modern Warfare, Doom 1, Doom 2, Doom 2016, and then maybe like 5-10 hours for Streets of Rage 4, and then maybe like 2-4ish hours each for Darksiders Genesis, Darksiders 3 and Remnant from the Ashes but that’s it. That’s literally it for me for gaming last year on PS4 and PS5. Add that all up and it’s like less than half of this supposed 751 hours it says I played.

You got under 77 hours? How’s that even possible? Don’t take this the wrong way, but you’re one the of the regulars around here, and I would have expected you to have a lot of hours, unless you’re doing most of your gaming on other platforms (PC, Switch, Xbox)

I played Cyberpunk, TLOU II, RE3, GoT.

Ive played Hades on switch for like 15 hours.

I really dont play as much anymore and I never spend more than 45hours on a game [when I do its for Souls and RE games or a special RPG]. Ive got Elex, Doom, COD coldwar and Yakuza Zero on my list. Ill play a lot more this year but every year its a decline.

I'm actually surprised MK11 is on my list I didn't think I played it that much during the year. I probably spent a majority of the time afk in training mode or some shit tbh lol. I think if they combined COD Black OPs PS4 and PS5 that would have been in the top 3. FF7R one of the few single player games I can think of where I played more than 100 hours. I'm not too surprised as I loved that game. I think Granblue Versus has potential to be one of the best fighting games, the only thing really holding it back is it's shit netcode and Ranked Match system is kind of whack.

I have like 300 hours in Animal Crossing so that's easily my most played in 2020 lmao. Other contenders would be Ghost of Tsushima which I'd guess is somewhere around 60ish hours and Valorant which I'd guess is around 100ish or so hours. I like these types of stats that are tracked and I'm glad the PS5 keeps track of it per application. It always was a pet peeve of mine when games didn't show play time.

I'm aware that some fans aren't thrilled with Bluepoint's art direction, but the swamp below Latria tower looked genuinely horrifying (in a good way). I had goose bumps the whole time my character was down there. Those creepy ass scorpion things look gross as hell at higher resolution.

Latria (or whatever its called) was damn gorgeous. The atmosphere was fantastic, just reeked of Bloodborne. By far my favourite area in the game, just goddamn dope.

Not sure how a ban would work, but something definitely needs to be done about scalpers because they’ve just been fucking the consumer market so hard this year.
