it’s great! Even forgetting the nostalgia thing, I want my elderly parents to play it! It’s the standout thing to me. As a showcase for the controller it’s spectacular IMO. It’s even hard to describe I just want people to try it. Will it be implemented enough to make it a feature? I hope so because it is ground breaking but I doubt it will be used much outside of set pieces
 
Got an email saying that my PS5 is at the Post Office ready for pick up on the way home from work. Only problem is I get off work at 4pm, the Post Office closes at 5pm, and I’m supposed to pick up a few groceries on the way home. PO is right by my house, so if I hit that first it’s way out of the way and I do some serious back tracking. Thinking it’s worth to make sure I have enough time.
 
Ended up hitting a little extra traffic out of work and pulled into the PO at 4:57 while they were starting to lock up the lobby. Was stressed all the way in since there are a few places traffic will randomly pop up.

Got it all hooked up after dinner and checking out the Astro Play Room. Absolutely blown away by the haptic feedback with the controller. It's so crazy. I've read a few different articles and posts saying you have to feel it to understand, and now I see why.

I have some leave that expires at the end of the month, so just happened to have tomorrow off. Excited to try a few more games in the morning. Bundle came with Demon Souls and picked up Bugsnax as the free PS+ title.

I was going to skip bugsnax, but since it was free I figured why not. Not really my kind of game, but if I had kids or something, I think they would really enjoy it.

I haven't had chance to play it yet but...

i've seen a few things online saying that it takes a bit of a dark twist later on in the game

Downloaded the free game this month, Maneater, played for about 10 minutes and deleted it. Not for me. Interested to give Shadow of the Tomb Raider a try.

I downloaded it for my kids too but they're not interested. All they want to play is Fortnite
 
Finished Miles Morales. Enjoyed it but looking back I wish I hadn't spent $50 on it. Still I liked playing as Miles and really enjoyed the look, sound and feel of the game. Sort of hard to grade a half sequel like this but ill give it a 7.

Looking forward to Spider-Man 2 but they really need to make some improvements to the puzzles and such. Being Spider-Man, swinging through the city, battering and webbing up enemies is great. But literally everything else you do in the game feels like such a downgrade.

Unfortunately, like most of my other games, it’s going into the backlog. Someday when my kids go off to university (they’re presently 5 and 3 years old) I may actually have time to play some of them.
 
I’m really looking forward to diving into Greedfall. Have an XB copy, but added it to my library for PS+. The dev announced they will have a new gen upgrade, so going to wait until that hits to start.

Been playing Demon Souls and it’s been pretty great with the enhanced visuals and load times.

On a more positive note, game should look great at the time on your PS9 Hoverboard Pro, lol.
