PS2 or XBox... what should i buy???

i am now pissed off. why the fuck isnt newton penn or elvis in the xbox version. and is vitor in the ps2 version. i saw the face and im pretty sure its him but im not positive
 
In my opinion you should get a PS2, not only does it have better games but it is much cheaper as well.
 
Vitor is in the PS2 version. The X-Box version sucks. I played it for 2 hours or so the day i got it. Haven't touched it since.
 
TeaBag, i know how u feel man. Thank God i got a PS2 also. It looks way better than the XBox Version. Also, Pride will be on PS2 this year.

Ready2Stumble, how is PS2 cheaper than XBox? Its the same price. In fact, the XBox might come out cheaper in the long run. XBox has a built in Memory Card and 4 player adapter capability. U would have to buy those accessories separate for the PS2. As far as games, they are very similar prices.
 
Double, i almost forgot about u... u are right. The XBox version is pretty much the same as the DC version. I dont see too many differences. I got bored very quickly with TapOut. I'm looking forward to Throwdown and Pride for PS2. Its gonna be way better than TapOut. I'll be patient.
 
Has anybody got the damn DVD controller for the xbox...i got pride dvds i wanted to watch on it but now i have to wait till the controller comes back in stock....and why does UFC have to suck on xbox...damn programmers....Bungie needs to take over the games department....Halo is just too sweet.
 
I got the DVD controller...it cost me 29 dollars without the tax. You can get it at Walm-mart. I have only seen one DVD movie and it plays great.

I did like X-box tap-out because I never played the DC version. But I gotta admit that the sound in combat is horrible.
 
i dont know why everyone doesnt like the xbox version of UFC. im pissed that they dont have elvis, newton ect but i think its an awesome game. i dont like playing by myself but if you get a bunch of kids who know what they're doing i have a blast playin it. especially if were drunk. it pretty much puts everyone on the same level
 
aren't any of these games availeble on the PC? I don't have a PS2 or X-box!
 
if you need info on videogames just go to videogames.com. they have info on everything for every system including pc
 
I don't think so...rtbrouwer. AMerica and Japan are the places for video games. I think in Europe dudes don't play video games and do other stuff like going to fashion shows, play soccer, get laid and outdoor stuff.
 
Yeah, the DVD controller for XBox is great!!!! A must have. I got the one for PS2, and its awesome!!! Circuit City and Software Etc is a good place to buy accessories. Like Vene said, Walmart is good too, with nice prices.
 
As far as games, yes, TapOut was a huge disapointment for me. Its pretty much the same as the DC version.

Still, XBox got great games too. HALO and Project Gotham are my two favorite games!! BOTH ARE AWESOME!!! WWF Raw isnt all that though.

PC games are growing too, but it doesnt have the popularity like Video Games for PS2 and XBox.
 
im a little curios. what do you guys dont like about that game. the only thing i hate is how much dan severn sucks ass. otherwisei love the game and have a blast when playing. only in mplayer though.
 
im talking about tapout but you could prolly figure that out
 
I think people don't like the game because is pretty similar to the dc version, so people were expecting more from it. Maybe they wanted more current fighters than Andre Roberts, Waterman and Tim Laccic.
I actually like the game but then I never played the dc version. I don't like Kevin Randleman kicks. I like the fact that Severn sucks. I play with Rizzo and then I always chop himn down.
Playing with my brothers is a lot of fun thoguh.

PS2 has done alot with their videogames in the year and half its been out in America.

Give X-Box some time and they'll be pushing to their full capabilities. Halo is one of the best first person shooters I've played.

But with Throwdown, Pride, and hopefully K-1 coming to the PS2 I'm definitely in no hurry to get another one of Gates' soul suckers.
 
thats one thing that pissed me off is how good randleman and tim lajcik really are. but overall i like the game alot. just wish they had the newton elvis and vitor on the xbox version.
 
hey tea bag do you know how to do the flying arm bars?

I was playing against the computer (marco Ruas). ANd he pulled a flying armbar on me...I was like wtf?

Can you do the throw over the back with the BJJ guys? I don't know how to do it, but the computer does it all the time.
 
yes i can do flying armbars. tap foward and hit the left button and top button at the same time. it can be other two buttons for different guys. just keep trying a combinaton of two buttons for different guys. patmilitech has a cool tackle to keylock. just hit back and i think the bottom button and left button. someguys also do a weird assleg thing to kneebar. just keep tryin two dif button combinations
