PS2 or XBox... what should i buy???

Looks like we have the same taste in games bro!
What is Half-Life like? Anything differebt from the original computer game?? Graphics better or worse??
I don;t own any games because I don't even own a console!!

Half Life is a very kool game. For some reason, the PC Version is better, but its ok. U played Duke Nukem before?

Shooto: seeing as how expensive games are, I won't be able to purchase ALL the ones I want, but I would probably rent alot. If I bought a ps2 I would surely buy GTA3-fuck what a fun game!Resident Evil (haven't played it for ps2 yet but it rocked for psone so it can only be better right?) Pride for sure (when it come s out), Tapout, Tony Hawk 3.
Now if I purchased an x-box, I would buy Halo for sure, UFC Tapout, and RAW for starters. But that's all the games I've played for it ( i think).

How's Silent Hill2 ??? I loved it for ps-one!

IMO, Silent Hill 2 is one of the scariest and freakiest games ever! Scared the shit out of me with the creepy sounds, and effects. Anyhow let me give u some advice on some games u should get when u do get either system.

First off, i agree with u. Renting games first is a very good idea. I rented a few games, and thanked myself later that i didnt buy it first.

As far as PS2... must buys are GTA3! NO doubt... Resident Evil is one of favorites games of all time. The PS1 versions kicked serious ass. I have all 4 of them. Pride and Throwdown are shoe ins.

But dont get TapOut for XBox. I was not impressed. HALO could possibly be the best game ever, IMO. MUST BUY. If u like racing, get Project Gotham. (My personal favorite) Also, RAW was very disappointing. If anything Smackdown 4 for PS2 is looking very good. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info dude! Were the controls in RAW similar to the controls for N64 versions? If either of the two systems can make a decent wrasslin game with THQ"s N64 style conrtols, then they will get my moolah! I can't remember if I did play RAW or not for the x-box...... I'm sure I'd remember if I actually liked it. I know all the wrasslin games I've played so far for both systems haven't been all that great. Graphics-wise they kicked ass but fun-wise/control-wise, I couldn't be bothered. The RAW pics look sweet tho-that's why I put it in my "To buy list"-but I will have to rent it again to make sure!
I love scary games and I love Silent Hill for PS-one!! Glad to hear it kept up it's freak-out style of game play!! I want to get both systems for fucks sakes!!!

Well, I didn't end up buying a system yet. The little woman and I are saving up for a down payment on a house..... and I am curently saving up some cash for an engagment ring right now. And by the time the house and ring is bought, the next group of systems will be out and we'll have to start another thread called Ps3 or Ybox...what should I buy?
