Provide an argument for increasing fighter pay

I broke a bunch of bones racing motocross. For free. Actually I paid to enter races. Guess someone owes me money....
You call me stupid but you present a bunch of unsupported opinions.

I mean it’s just your opinions that broken bones should mean more pay.

I don’t understand how breaking your bone generates money or entitles you to more pay.

Please explain.

I think that would actually be preferable. I much prefer the UFC when they had more recognizable fighters fighting more often and developed the fighters image. Not entities randoms fighting
If that were truly the case, the UFC should cut all the other fights and only do very small cards. They'd get the same revenue and viewership (according to you) for less expense.

So why doesn't the UFC do that? No doubt because your "reviewing the numbers" was done incorrectly.

For example, does not ESPN pay the UFC to provide fight cards with some certain quantity of fights? If so, how did you work that in to your calculations? Or did you just ignore that?

15% revenue share is pathetic, for a profitable sports org worth billions.
A fighter’s career is short, and Reebok coupons don’t pay the bills.
UFC fighter pay is so fair, they won’t even disclose what they actually pay fighters.
Multiple UFC HOF-level fighters have had to go boxing t on get their biggest payday.
Fighters not being allowed to go out and find sponsors.
UFC has a well-known history of shading business dealings and negotiation tactics.
Etc.

Again, non of us really know what these champions make. But from what information gathered from former champions like DC, Khabib, Rqmpage, GSP, Bisping etc and former title contenders like Chael, Diaz. These fighters are making good money. Now for the people who recently just signed in the UFC, Dana is right when he called it a opportunity. Just like any other sport or any job you have to prove your worth.

I've been watching MMA for a long time now, these conversations for fighters pay is getting very tiresome, when I first started watching no one complain about pay, they just fought. It's only been a recent thing where fighters complain about it, and they are usually fighters who are not very good in the first place.

I respect what they do, but in the end they signed the contract & I don't put them on a pedestal just because they "fight." People on here constantly bitch about fighters getting cut like it's the end of the world for them where they can't make any money because all they know is how to fight.

In the end, champions in the UFC make good money, it's only the idiots like Tyron Woodley who spends all his money on jewelry, cars & mansions who go broke then complain about fighter pay.

I'm probably going on a tangent and lost the plot, im just tired of these same old threads about pay. If fans really cared they would be doing something other than crying about it online.

Money management is a different story and I understand that some of these fighters are going to make money and they're going to blow it no matter how much they get paid but that's not what we're talking about here what I'm talking about is like

Let's take a look at Al Jermaine Sterling he was Champion for his last two fights and he was only paid a million for those two fights you should have been making a million each minimum he's the champion of the world yeah the dillashaw fight was wonky but that wasn't his fault he did his job he showed up ...he came inshape and won.. that's his job as a fighter train get in shape come on weight and win

Hes should have at least made a million plus more than what he did that's a huge difference to an athlete and a fighter who only has a certain amount of time to make money in their athletic Prime

A lot of guys fight for their own reasons and all of them fight because they love it that's true and the money is just a bonus I agree and that is still true for some of these guys and they're not there to become the richest dudes ever but at the same time you're performing and fighting for the greatest promotion in that sport the pay should reflect that
