Who is hyped for this fighter? He has only had 42 seconds of UFC fight time, but he made Dariush sleep with a huge left hand.





He next fights against Olivier Aubin-Mercier in Calgary. I think he beats Mercier by being more athletic/faster. Mercier is good though, but lacks quickness and athleticism imo. But he is a little slow to strike with Hernandez, and being a former wrestler will make it a tough fight for Mercier imo.

We have right to not talk about him, because he fought a little dirty vs Dariush, and it was only 42 seconds. But is still young and will hopefully have a good showing.

I didn't think he went for a fake glove touch, just that Dariush interpreted it that way. Didn't he fight with a wide stance? Not to mention that he rushed after Beneil from the outset, not something you do when you're looking to touch gloves.

Mercier has underrated standup and elite ground game. Lot of intrigue for me.

Slower paced fight favors OAM if he can get his trip TD’s going. Iono too much about Hernandez but if that’s really how he fights then I can see him giving OAM trouble if either guy gets to fight their fight.

On a side note, these two are probably the most yolked out 155ers. They’re barely holding any bodyfat on them

I was impressed after he KO'd Dariush, and ended up listening to a couple of his interviews. Very impressive young man, I think hes going very far in MMA.

I think you're right. He maintained the same stance throughout that fight. Didn't reach his hand out for a glove touch. The commentators interpreted it as a fake glove touch, everyone bites on what they say.
