Props to the UFC on the hype of ufc 199

Credit where it is due.

I just watched countdown to 199 - they did a fantastic job of using the silva fight to build bisping up!
They made it sounds like he whipped him from bell to bell until that "cheap" shot.
They chose all the right footage to accompany some fantastic music.
If I hadn't seen the fight - I would be convinced that bisping whooped silvas ass.
It was fantastic to watch. Great job.
And I hope bisping gets that belt!

Not a mark on Silvas face after the fight

UFC needs to overhype Bisping to make this fight NOT seem like the obvious SQUASH MATCH this is for Rockhold.

Really? I wouldn't be shocked.

Bisping has some of the better boxing in the ufc. I know he got blown out in the first fight, but I think he's good enough to fix some mistakes.

I think he will do a lot better this time

I don't know man, one of his biggest "mistakes" was seemingly being half Rockholds size. I know they are listed at 6 ft 3 and 6 ft 2, but they looked like they were 2 completely different weight classes.

As much as fanboys want to hide behind that pic, it doesn't change the fact that Anderson caused 90% of his damage in 10 seconds and would have probably finished if he wasn't busy trying to trick the ref into ending the fight, moral of the story shady actions don't always pay off.

It also doesn't change the fact that Anderson lost.

A Dozen Bisping Paddy Cakes = 1 MW Significant strike relative to damage.

Face it, Bispings offense is nothing more than busy work and point fighing.

Lol two off balance knockdows with ZERO follow up damage which Silva never kept his eyes off Bisping.

Yet omit the fact that Bisping had his mouthpiece knocked out clean, attempted a dirty stall tactic while hurt and complaimed to herb Dean, pretty much got finished and complained some more to continue the fight.

If anyone was close to being finished in that fight I can assure you it wasn't Anderson

Biggest thing I took away from that Countdown episode was how they made it seem like Bisping was beating Luke until he got headkicked.
