The dude went from TUF to LHW champ, and made pretty good cash too while doing it.

Dominated Tito,Chael and Phil Davis. KOed Chuck and beat Page. Took it to decison with GOAT Jones.

I had a feeling he was going down early. He's probably got more of both money and options than most fighters near the top. I hope he can retire comfortably because I don't think he should be fighting. Of course, he is still a top 10 fighter, but he will only fight other top-10 fighters.

I'll never forget the surprise I felt when I heard he KTFO Chuck Liddell. Of all the outcomes, at that time, that seemed highly unlikely. And he did it.

And when he smashed Forrest Griffin? Man. Rashad Evans in his prime? So much talent there. And he had a damn good career, all considered.

He has nothing to be ashamed of. He made things happen.
 
He really should have cut to 185. Shad had a cushy announcing job. He needs to talk it back.
 
Shad is not done. He lost against Glover, who is a dangerous fighter. Rashad could still win a LHW fight outside the top 5.

yea he had a good run. That being said given his past few performances i think its near time to hang em up. Get one more win to bounce back go out ona good note and get out of the game with your mental capacity intact.

I think I was the only one I know of who picked Glover to win tonight, I just didnt think Shad had much left in the tank, plagued by knee injuries and lack luster performances. Time to call it a career champ.

Losing to Glover is just a honor nothing less...He should go on no doubt.
 
I wonder if he'll drop down in weight now for this final phase of his career.
