Propose a solution to eye gauges or to groin shots.

More liberal point deductions. I know accidents can happen but constantly pawing out with your fingers outstretched isn't an accident. Also, point deduction on fence grab. I don't remember if it was GSP who said it but basically all fighters know you get at least 1 cheat per fight. Or 1 cheating moment of each type. you can get by with 1 poke, 1 nutshot, and 1 fence grab and never lose a point for it. What's the downside really?

also...make fighters where these.

Near impossible to avoid groin shots. Curved gloves for the eyepokes though. Really comes down to reffing as well.

Would be interesting to see some kind of sensor in the cup that lights up when kicked automatically indicating the foul itself, there are those situations where the ref doesn't see the strike and the fighter has to fight on only to be stopped because the ref didn't see the low blow.

for the eyes.. it would look goofy but fighters could wear some type of swimming goggles to protect the eyes.. lol it would never happen.

So as always like everytime shersog threads hype me up about a fight i go watch it and get disapointed seeing one dude curled up for 5 min either eye poked or loose testy.
Both happened in the moreno fig event. And to keep fighting with that broken arm, what a stud.
Anyway, i hate it, any of u innovating sherbros got any ideas?

Take a point without a warning. When it starts turning wins to losses. Fighters will stop doing them.

I'll second that. It's your job to not commit a foul. If you throw a round kick and your opponent doesn't move into it in one way or another, 1 point. You reflexively extend your hands to ward off punches and poke him in the eye, 1 point.
They should all be training for the rules of the sport.
If you throw a roundhouse and the dude I don't know, spins or switches stances and gets caught or whatever, that's different.

Side Rant (stop reading if you're only interested in staying on topic.)
I'd prefer more liberal scoring in general.
The only time a round should be 10-9 is if one guy barely edged out the other. I think more 10-10s are better for indistinguishable rounds, 10-8 if a guy loses the round handily (getting peppered and running because they're scared to engage), 10-7s and 10-6s when someone's seriously getting their ass kicked, etc... It'd fix a lot of closely scored fight where one guy get beat up but edges just enough rounds to win a decision.

completely agree about the point system too. Too many 10-9s, not enough 10-8s or 10-7s.

It's like these guys aren't taught to not poke or paw with their hands. In the NFL you are taught not to grab a facemask. You can't just grab someone by the facemask and tackle him down and have the ref yell a verbal warning to you the first time. It's an instant 15 yard penalty. Can you imagine if other sports allowed fouls with only a warning the first time? In baseball you just hit someone with a pitch and the ump tells you to watch your aim and the guy doesn't get to take his base?

I mean God forbid it appears more like a professional sport and less "barbaric" and violent for its own sake; attracting more fans, sponsors, and (hopefully) money for the fighters.
