You know man, I used to feel bad for such people as well. And yeah, there are some cases where the person is just naive and doesn't know better, sees only the good sides of the other person or maybe downplays the negative sides. However, in my experience most of those chicks have issues themselves, they're intellectually and emotionally underdeveloped people and usually have a bit of an inferiority complex of some sort as well. I have a bunch of married friends and also those who have been with their girlfriends forever. At first I couldn't comprehend how my friend could have ended up with a hag like that, but over the years I figured out they were no better and that people who are together usually deserve each other (not always a bad thing, obviously). Not that my friends are bad guys or anything, but ending up with the chicks they've ended up with I wouldn't wish upon my worst enemy. When it comes to women, often time a lack of proper father figure makes them either promiscuous as fuck or they just go from one bad relationship to another and can't stand their ground and find a normal guy. Anyway, I can only speak from what I've observed over the years, maybe I'm wrong .
