Theory Proof that I have done fighting (Full Contact) and been graded

I work part time at a deli and there's this autistic guy who comes by every Saturday to get a sandwich. He's super obsessed with martial arts, sometimes wears a black belt over his jeans, loves to talk about different techniques and usually has some Dim Mak-adjacent moves he likes to talk about using on his "opponents". You kinda remind me of him.
Cool story you made up.

I find this can be amended by working on end range strength rather than just stretching. Stretching is the best for flexibility of course, but (imo) doing strength training in those really far ranges is the next step once you've reached that "ultra flexible" milestone

When I was a yellow belt they told me that people with perfect flexibility (full splits) have strength. You cant have one without the other.

But since I didn't reach that perfect flexibility i did 50/50 stretching vs strength workouts.

that's the only method that worked

100% stretching was too counter productive, you get wear and tear, set backs.

since I have the mechanics in my muscle memory after many years I can cut down the stretching.

But to get really high kicks I need to stretch like a beginner and I don't think it's worth it.

I dont have a passion for martial arts anymore. I've reached my set goals and its all going down hill how age wise,

but I would pick a profession as an MMA striking coach , if I can get a little work in myself.

But they dont respect TaeKwonDo so..

Taekwondo got alot of praice and respect in MMA. So its probably more about people not respecting you. For whatever reason..

I dont think they would hire me even if they needed a kick coach. Compared to if my background was Muay Thai or Kickboxing.

They would not hire because of you as a person. But because of what style or not

Picture is generic and could have been found anywhere online.

Definitely not proof of anything.

Same leather jacket behind it. Now how is that possible? Either I am posting someone elses footage or I am a red belt in Korean Karate!

I'll help you guys out.

The old guy lacks the cool music but can actually punch and has power in his techniques.

The modern clip is just gymnastics. No kime. Weak hands.

But its all what you train for. . If you train for control and flexibility, that's time lost on combat effectiveness

I dont remember the footwork drills we did in boxing but its probably different in mma anyway. So I could teach punches, some positioning. But footwork would have to be a specialist

I was thinking of returning to Taekwondo when I met a guy from my club 6 years later wearing a cervical collar on.

He held mitts for a heavyweight who threw a spin kick that missed the shield.

Such a stupid thing to go through. It wasnt even from a fight.
