Werdum has never taken a beating, right?
Dude that wasn't a flash ko. He was knocked the fuck out.Well, if I am not mistaking, the topicstarter excluded flash KOs, which are rightfully not called beatings.
Which means, Rockhold never got a beating.
Actually, Junior dos Santos - forgive me.Werdum has never taken a beating, right?
But I'll play along. If that wasn't a beating then neither was hendo-bisping.Well, if I am not mistaking, the topicstarter excluded flash KOs, which are rightfully not called beatings.

Lyoto Machida..you said beat down and dominated, ...not choked to death
I dont believe that was a beat down...until late in the third round he tripped Lyoto, putting Machida on his back. Romero then rained down a fury of brutal elbows to his head that made the ref stop the fight. That was a typical finish. I would call a beat down someone that gets beat up from round one to the finish, EX: Roundy Rousey vs HolmHave you seen the Yoel Romero fight?
no lie, just ask the strangers he be battering on the streets of Sweden as a youthGus is a baaaad dude
The 1st run of his career he fought the best of the best. The 2nd half he was the BIGGEST PPV draw and had to pick fighters at a certain times. No fighter in his era was at his level. He is older than PacMan and if he and PacMan fought in 2010ish, boxing would have no fights to promote. Khan, Ward, GGG were not close to be names then. We all, including them had to wait until young stars came around to have that fight.Floyd mayweather. With his talent and skill, he could maintain that defensive style. Plus he handpicked his opponents.
UFC I would say Cruz. He lost by choke to Faber but the closest he came to getting beat up was dillashaw. Tj did put a hurting but not a sustained beating.
I think he is the best of his era. But I also believe he fought in a weak era. Plus he waited out manny until his skills had diminished enough that Floyd would be able to defeat him relatively easily. It had nothing to do with the sport of boxing. It was dollars and drug tests. So Floyd just waited. The 1st run of his career he fought the best of the best. The 2nd half he was the BIGGEST PPV draw and had to pick fighters at a certain times. GSP gave it to him in GSP fashion.I don't ever remember Nick Diaz getting beatdown worse than he gave out in a fight.....maybe I am not remembering that good. I know he got cut vs KJ Noons and they stop it, and he has lost a few fights. I just really don't ever remember him getting his ass beat up.

that is valid. I think he was thoroughly beaten but he wasn't thoroughly beaten up.GSP gave it to him in GSP fashion.
true, I stand corrected.Rockhold fight...
I don't know about beat up, but he looked pretty bad after gomi. He was wearing those huge sunglassesI don't ever remember Nick Diaz getting beatdown worse than he gave out in a fight.....maybe I am not remembering that good.
