Product of the Week Thread

Where I live we have an online shop that sells mostly to restaurants but you can shop there to as a private person. Got me some stainless steel pans and I am watching their mixer looks almost identical to the vitamixer in your post. But its like 100 USD.
There are a lot of imposters that really do work almost as well as the OG stuff in the restaurant world.
All Clad pans are industry standard, the Vitamix IMO is one that hasn't been surpassed. I vividly remember a young stage who thought he was the next Thomas Keller coming into my restaurant and staring wide eyed at 2 Vitamixers working in tandem and saying to me "you have two?".

I saw an article on Apple News saying don't drink water from water bottle left inside hot car because the heat will cause plastic to leech into the water and result in health problems.

A while ago I was given an Ozark Trails(?) stainless steel made in China tumbler from Walmart. Dug it out and washed it and vaguely remembered seeing something on the internet suggesting initially putting some acidic drink in there to get rid of metal taste. Web searched to try to find that again and came across articles saying DON'T put acidic soda or juice in it or tea, so basically only use it for water. I thought you could use it for any drink.

The bad thing is the limited features lid doesn't come with some sliding cover to prevent bugs from getting inside and noticed there's a drink hole and another tiny hole I guess to enable the drink hole to function. I saw on eBay and Amazon there's replacement lids that have sliding covers for the drink hole that say they're compatible with Ozark. Some had magnetic covers. Never heard of that before where I'm wondering if the magnet will rust.

I bought one like that at the grocery store which I don't think sells that water anymore and I think those have an inner plastic lining.

I checked youtube and found a replacement lid with combo hard plastic and silicone flap and mostly is non-spill, but they aren't sold on Amazon anymore and can't find on eBay. There are many copycats, but no idea what materials used, where made, and no youtube videos showing if they fit with Ozark Trail 30 oz.

most don't use BPA anymore if that's what you're trying to avoid

I read what they use instead of BPA in stuff has the same negative effects.
IT wouldn't surprise me....

Seems like those bottles don't have a liner though

It's hard to tell by looking. I saw an image of a soda can where the aluminum was dissolved and what was left was the inner plastic lining.

I saw third party lid listings suggesting the Ozark Trail 30 oz lid is compatible with Yeti too. Looked at the Yeti lids and those seem to have screw on threads, so not sure if Yeti is compatible with Ozark Trail. Couldn't find any other replacement lids in stores, so seems like this type of thing is only online mostly.

Someone gave me a LED mask. I think it's the funniest thing to wear and answer facetime calls with.

Yeti tumbler's just have a press on lid with an o-ring, no threads. No idea if they would swap onto the Ozark though. If you have a Walmart nearby that sells both tumblers, try swapping the lids in the store to see if they fit.

well it's a lot lighter than any other bottle as well. I have one beside me can't really feel plastic

No idea if Yeti changed the design, but I was in the store looking at the lids and they had some threads. Didn't notice if the tumbler had corresponding threads. I'd guess Yeti is too expensive for Walmart to carry.

I did notice two different magnetic sliding lids where one said to remove the slider before washing, no idea how to remove it, and other newer magnetic sliding lid, possibly fully enclosed magnet, didn't say to remove slider before washing. One was made in Malaysia, other in China.

Here is the best one for those who memed this thread.

I recommend reading the first issue of my comic book at Bereft.ca.

It's 100% free.

Yeah that's definitely product of the week.

If you liked Sinners then this is kind of the vibe. Only a wider variety of characters and more violent:

"Please exit the building in an orderly manner."
*The very next frame: BLAM-BLAM-BLAM!

One guy even gets shot in the teeth! (bottom of page 20).

Plus, look how good these character designs and drawings are.

We definitely got a talent on Sherdog. Great job @koquerelle

Makes your cheap hotdog taste as real as it gets, and let everyone at the cookout know you train human cawkfighting

Glad you liked it.

I'm just the writer. The art was done by John Himmelstein.

I have to water some plants, but they are a distance away and due to slope and other plants or tree limbs, not so easy to access.

I just thought of if I could take a regular spray bottle's nozzle with long plastic tube stem and stick that in my watering pail, maybe I could spray from a distance via pump action of the spray nozzle. Is there such spray nozzle capable of spraying more water than normal spray bottle and not powered by water pressure like regular hose? Is there such Nerf water gun/pump action thing that would suit my needs?
