Prodigy lead singer Keith Flint dead at 49

From what I understood the dude was brought in as this crazy figurehead for the group, but Prodigy is and always has been just basically Liam Howlett's music. Anyone else, at best, contributed to the vocals and the image of the band.

Flint looked like the kind of a guy who went 110% so not really surprised about this type of an end.

You've probably heard the music even if you don't like the genre. Prodigy's music has been in a lot of movies and TV.

I checked out some of their stuff on YouTube, definitely not something I'd listen to and I don't recall hearing any of it so it probably isn't used in anything I'd watch.

Amazing performer and always brought the energy. He seemed like the kind of guy that didn't give a frag but wasn't a jackhole either.

R.I.P.

How did that not win a Grammy? Just kidding.

Legend!! rest in peace

Can't believe it. Always wanted to see them live, now I never will...

Meh. He helped turn the Prodigy into rubbish. Experience & Jilted Generation were good records. Fat of the Land was complete shite, in no small part to Flint's poxy vocals.

Damn I loved their music. Get some ecstasy and a couple of girls and crank that shit up.

I remember working out while listening to Breathe, Firestarter and Diesel Power

<DCrying>

RIP in peace

Before you start whining, I've known Liam since the 80s. Fun Fact - on the intro to Poison "Liam, there's someone on the phone... etc", that was me. I was trying to book him for an event in Cambridge, which never happened.

No... No its not. It's recognizable, but it sounded a little cheese then, and it sounds a little cheese now. They way they talk the lines is a little bad, and kind of funny.
That was the only song on the album I've always skipped, but the instrumental on the Wipeout PS1 game was bearable.

I think you'd be surprised.

  • The Matrix
  • Kickass
  • Scott Pilgrim
  • Event Horizon
  • Spawn
  • Charlie's angels
  • Hackers
I'd be extremely surprised if you haven't seen a few of those.

Another "famous" person I've never heard of until he died.

You're a nobody so it really doesn't matter if you've heard of Keith or Prodigy.

And why even post in a thread like this?

This is a fan thread for someone that just died so why did you feel the need to bring your stupid shit in here.

You probably haven't heard of a lot of people since you live in a basement. Gently fuck off please, thank you.

RIP Keith.

I have still been bumping this lately..

Dam those were my peak MTV music video watching days. Shortly after I started going to underground raves. Definitely influenced my electronic beats love.

London is the birthplace of the best electronic music, djs and producers .

Fat of the Land was awesome, most people love that album. Honestly, you could take all the vocals out of that album and it would still be good so Liam still seemed to have it for that album. Smack my bitch up barely even has vocals to begin with. Just playing that songs instruments sure make me feel like I could Robbie Lawler slam Askren myself.
