?? how are the segregated when they are together in the room with whites? its not like they are making a black only room, they are taking the small amount of blacks and putting them together along with other students.

yes one of multiple home rooms with other students. there is not enough minorities to fill an entire home room

the article is written poorly, it mentioned 10 minority students. im guessing that each home room has more than 10 students. if so then they are just placing all 10 in the room together along with the other students of the home room.

it talks about giving them more of a voice, but I dont necessarily agree with that. what happens when they get out in the real world and are in a workplace full of white people. they need to learn to have a voice wether there are other blacks around or not.

I believe when it comes to private property and private institutions then the owners can accept or deny people for whatever reason they like. Why do you think it's ok to force association within private settings? Can't you see how that creates animosity amongst whites for being forced to do things and a mind fuck amongst blacks due to their self worth and freedom being tied to the acceptance of white society?

If greater white society thinks this is wrong and want to send their kids to racially and culturally diverse schools then expect to see attendance drop. Otherwise id suggest you just respect peoples wishes and preferences less you increase racial conflict and division.

i wasnt speaking specifically about race with my question. a private school can do whatever it likes, so long as the parents approve?

They also learned that the race-based placement policy had already been in effect for the 2017-18 school year for 7th and 8th graders, and would likely be expanded to the 6th grade in September.

“My daughter who is 11 was like, ‘Wow, this is crazy. They are talking about separating by color,’” one father, who asked to remain anonymous, told The Post.

“And I was thinking how antiquated is this? This is backwards. It’s almost like segregation now.”
