I was just curious others opinions how this fight would go at LHW. Both are great ground guys. The Tito that beat Ken Shamrock in their first fight vs the Chael Sonnen that beat up the Anderson Silva in their first fight. Who takes it?

If I'm betting I'm picking Tito, If I pick who I like Chael and hoping he puts a hurting on Tito

Prime Chael was terrible.

He didn't get any good till he was on the juice.

He was already 33 for the first Silva fight. Prime Chael was getting his ass kicked by Jeremy Horn every other fight.

I'd go with Chael. They both have a similar fight style, but Chael is better at applying pressure.

really? i though he was decent against Paulo Filho...Also one can argue Tito never fought good wrestlers. Shamrock was old

AT first i wasnt gonna use the word PRIME because i dont really like it, I originally had "The best Tito vs The best Chael" but then people would be bitchin tellin me that means prime....

You do make a very good point. Tito dont like pressure if he isnt the one applying. Chael I think has a better gas tank?

Chael was a spoiler, Tito was a killer, Sonnen gets busted up by the bigger man.

It's really hard to pinpoint when prime Chael really was. You could definitely say it was the time of his first Andy fight to the second. But...you could very well say it was the time of the Shogun fight because his sub defense vastly improved along with his sub offense. So I might lean towards that time since he still had the skills from the prior window.

With that said, I think it would be a close battle likely resulting in an SD for either(since it would be at LHW).

I don't think Chael would be able to take Tito down, and Tito would outstrike Chael

Chael is a superior wrestler but Tito is bigger. I think the fans would lose and die from boredom.

i agree do, I am not sure of Chael's MMA career status but that fight can happen still, its not completely out of the question do you think?

I'll take Tito even tho I think he is one of the most Overated fighter In history.
Tito hands, grappling was a little better than Chael. Also Tito was always a huge Guy at 205.
Tito UD.
Chael is only a better wrestler, don't think that enough.

I don't think so. I doubt Chael ever fights for any other promotion that isn't the UFC unless he suddenly loses a boatload of money.

& if they fought now i'd 100% go with Chael.

nah i disagree, Chael has never been in that many boring fights, I believe hed bring the fight to Tito whether he got his ass kicked or not.

Hard fight to guess honestly. Tito would have the strength advantage, but Chael would have the wrestling advantage.....hmmm.....

Fuck a prime fight, though, Chael is 38 and Tito is 41, so they aren't too far apart in age to fight in Bellator.
