Wild fight but Fedor was better everywhere, bigger too..

Shogun’s reckless abandon would have seen his head taken off by a Fedor overhand right / hook, Fedor had reflexes of a cat back then.

Could also see Fedor dropping shogun onto his head and GNPing him into oblivion.

He mauled big nog on the ground, hes finish shogun there.

Fedor...he wins all "what if" matches in Pride during that time, period. This isn't even really a conversation. Anyone voting Shogun, would love to hear the rationale behind that.

The post above yours had an explanation.

Shogun by KO. Fedor has a losing record against MW's and LHW's. Because they were faster and more skilled, Fedor was more used to beating one dimensional, big slow oxes.
When did Fedor start losing the MW's and LHW's? Fedor wasn't in his Prime 2011 or 2019. Neither was Shogun. The TS asked prime vs. prime, not any time during their career. Peak Fedor vs. Peak Shogun. Judging his fights in 2019 and 2023 and saying he has losing record against MW's and LHW's is crazy wild equating that to him during his prime years.

He was 100% in his prime in SF when he was 33-34 contrary to what deluded fanboys might claim.

So he lost to Hendo, lost to Arona, beat Matt Lindland though. Congrats to Fedor for not losing to Matt, amazing performance. Congratulations, seriously.

So even prime for prime he has a losing record to MW's and LHW's if you want to discount his losses to Bader, Maldonado

PRIME Fedor was LITERALLY unbeatable…inbreds on here saying after 30+ fights and numerous SAMBO titles concurrently
that Fedor was still prime are dumber than rocks.

Prime Fedor would wreck prime Shogun and I am a big fan of both.
